Let Him be the wind in our sail

This weekend, I learned about the genuine meaning of joy. Our joy comes from thankfulness and rest in the Lord. Our joy transpires in hope, and knowing that there is an abundance of beauty coming. In order to receive pure joy, we need to keep seeking our God and walk in obedience with Him. We need to truly live for the mission that Jesus called us to. He is always with us, and nothing can come between us and Jesus.

Matthew 28: 19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”

Sailboat is one of my favorite songs by Ben Rector. It just reminded me of the song King of my heart that says to let Him “be the wind inside my sails” Such a beautiful line, that can correspond to this song by Ben Rector. Although we may feel like a sailboat, and not know path ahead or even where we are headed right now; we can walk with Christ and let Him lead us.                                                                                                                                  ~Canvas Made by Ally McGraw ~
